It's not so much my opinion as something that had occurred to me and it's reaching.
Doyle's death and To Shanshu in LA were their first turning points.
Although she seemed personally affected by Wesley's declaration that Angel could never find curse breaking happiness with an actress in 'Eternity', I'd say the point at which her feelings truly changed was Connor's birth.
