^ From the rumors I heard though, we were always going to endure the Willow/Oz/Veruca triangle. However, it was just going to be longer so probably if he stayed the triangle would've gotten stretched out without Oz actually cheating?
Also Willow/Tara were never meant to be in a relationship from my memory but the chemistry was there which is why ultimately it ended up happening.
However, SG also admitted that he spent a lot of time on set just to stand around and say one line. lol So yeah, it's pretty much the lack of story and his movie and creativity career was picking up.
