Im slightly confused by them tho.
So liv goes to his moms wake, the first time shes seen hm in a long while. She stays over. The next morning, why in the WORLD would she be offended that he said she wasnt his gf??? In the OG it makes more sense because W/N kinda just got "Together" or whatever, but in this one, not even close to that. She had no reason to be that offended imo. Obviously his asking her leave was rude, but the g/f comment itself felt odd to me.
Then he apologizes at school and says shes his g/f and they belong together? Im so lost. That is like the quickest thing ever. ???
The other versions it sort of works because at that point N/W were already kissing and and it was their 2nd night spending together, but ion this one they literally only had a few conversation. I hate that they are rushing it.
