Yes Mel, I like that they showed that his relationship wasnt working anymore, despite there being love there, and then they broke them up in a positive way so that Eva could put her friends first. It was a great message.
Personally I saw them as friends and rushing them getting back together was not it. If they wanted to develop that more in another eason then okay, but to tack it into four annoys me. Couldn't they have just had a nice moment together instead or something? IDK. Plus it kinda demolished the message they were trying to put out in season 1.
