I swear they go out of their way to make Jake the most perfect guy ever. Seriously, he's just a great partner (and man), and I love him and Amy so much

Again they knew how to balance the heavier moments with lighter comedy moments just wonderfully. Holt vs. the strangler at the end was hilarious.

I'm also really happy how they had Rosa and Amy debating opposing ideas but neither was shown as right or wrong, they were just two sides of the same goal (wanting what's best for the victim).
