Exactly. At some point they will have to change too because I don't think people will like to pay so many streaming services. Now that I'm kinda into anime I've discovered there are streaming services for it as well (there used to be an anime channel but it dissappeared like 5 or more years ago) - imagine what a person like me would pay: Netflix + Hulu + Disney plus + CBS + FOX + WB stuff + Crunchyroll = not enough money for that
There is a reason why channels are together in television, it wouldn't make sense to pay a channel one by one.

Anyways, I think there has to be advertisement somewhere. Ratings are still important in some way thanks to this.
