Yes, and that is really annoying! TV is nice since we only have to pay for the cable to watch any kind of channel. To make a further explanation, in my country paying the "cable" would allow us to watch stuff you (US, and a few European countries) have on your "everyday" television, and then, paying the cable and another (expensive) plus would allow us to watch what you have as "cable" (for example HBO). Add Netflix to that... Maybe another streaming service too, but after that, more of them would be very expensive, and it's really difficult when you don't have variety!

She meant that now a lot of, mmm, entertainment networks?, want to have its own and unique streaming service. Not sure if it is open yet but something similar to what Disney intends to do - well, imagine ABC, CW, FOX, and else trying to create their own Netflix.
