That said, if people were entranced by the extent of the horrors he committed, that I understand. His depravity was almost beyond imagining. I remember watching Dennis Rader's confession to the BTK crimes almost like it was yesterday, because I was just so horrified by how casual he seemed. But Lena is definitely correct that it's unfortunate he's sold as some incredible genius of criminality.
