It's from 1984. I didn't mind that Supergirl film, but it didn't do well at the box office back then or with critics. Peter O'Toole & Faye Dunaway were each nominated for a ''Golden Raspberry Award'' due to that film. ''Supergirl'' led Ilya Salkind to sell the rights to Superman to Cannon Films in 1986. ''Supergirl'' made less than $15,000,000 at the box office as well.
