I was ranting about Tumblr and also in here: I totally get why Tumblr feel the need to try and combat the pornbot problem on here after they were removed from the app store but what sits uneasy with me about online censorship is that content featuring women or homosexuality seems to be inherently considered more sexual than content with straight men. I've seen Youtube videos with two women kissing being classified as ‘adult’ yet no media ever classifies heterosexual kissing as 'adult'. Heterosexuality is romanticised but gay kissing is usually classified as somehow more sexual somehow due to unconscious homophobia.
