Re-watching part 1, there really wasn't much about Leta other than that picture Queenie saw. I think she probably knows more about Leta but Newt told her to stop reading his mind so she stopped and then Tina came so their convo was interrupted. I'm glad we're getting Leta now in this movie and will most likely know more about her.
