I didn’t mind that scene, but I wanted it to be longer. Angst, like 3x05 stuff, would have been cool there, for sure.
Imagine if they had condensed the Dark Year episode and had some of 5x12 happening there. Then the first half of 5x13 could have happened earlier, too. 5x12 could have ended with McCreary releasing the missile, a big cliffhanger. Then ALL of 5x13 could have been devoted to getting on the ship, figuring out things once up there, showing characters talking and reconciling, etc.
