Completely unrelated to the fact that this week marked the 17th anniversary for Smallville premiering, the series has been on my mind as I've been toying with the idea of revisiting a "reboot project" of it that I started about 3 years ago but never got very far on.

The basic idea was to go back to the bare-bones concept of the series and get rid of anything about the premise that didn't work while also knowing that the final episode would see Clark leaving Smallville after his HS graduation ready to become Superman.

I got as far as working on writing a Pilot script, but got bogged down in trying to find an organic way to differentiate it from the original Pilot.

Is there anybody out there who'd like to see that script (it I can find it) and/or offer me some ideas on how to differentiate a reboot of the series from the original?
