Yeah it's normal to wear clothes more then once and to hold on to them for years and years. But it's also normal to buy new close and try on different things. The only new item of clothing he's got in a long while is a blue track suit that I know of. And we haven't even seen it yet and only heard about.
I'm sure this probably seems silly to you of all things to want tom to do. I had to chose him changing his cloths but I just want to see him in somethinh new that's all. But just so you know I not sitting here going crazy over it.
