I just watched episode 1x02, and I felt so bad for her. She went to Steve's house with Nancy even though she didn't really want to. She gave in to the peer-pressure to drink beer, but she ended up cutting her hand. And lastly, the Demogorgon snatched her away when she was hurt and sad.
