I would say that it was mostly the Flame telling Madi that the Eligius people needed to die. She has no real allegiance to Wonkru since she was just starting to train with them when she and Clarke had to bail.
I do believe though that there is some benefit that can be gleaned from the Commanders’ past experiences even if I generally don’t like the idea of the Flame. So I don’t really agree that the system was entirely bad, it was their belief system and their culture for many years and there is something to be said for that.
And yup, Sonja. It’s sickening that people do that and parallel CL scenes with Clarke/Madi scenes. She is a child, Clarke’s child and it’s not right at all.
