This is my opinion of it, negative or not.
It will either be good or bad. No in between. If it's good, so be it. It won't be as good as the original, and it shouldn't try to eclipse it, which is something I fear it will try to do.
And while I get that the owners of the verses want money, it's just petty to keep rebooting stuff because they can't come up with anything else.
