That is true, but Tony is one of the smartest people alive and when Strange said that there was only one way to win and then after the Snap, he made sure that Tony had heard him again before he died that "it was the only way". I'm sure Tony will figure out that this needed to happen so he (and the Avengers) can fix it. He might not know what to do at first, but I'm sure he will figure it out. And that is why I think (and hope) he will work non stop to figure out a way to fix it.
