Hathaway made a baseless accusation without any facts and is now making this a racial thing. She didn't even wait for the police to release their findings about the attacker's criminal record or his history of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. She just saw that it was a white guy and immediately went on the "white privilege" attack, which is no different from blaming the entire Muslim community every time there's a terrorist attack, even if they don't know if the attacker is a Muslim or not.
