Upon watching that second one again, it seemed like the storyline affected him more. Rather that the Brian being a "sexual predator" in the first interview, it seems that it was easier to discuss Brian as emotionless and uncaring, but in the second, he was much more serious. That had to take a toll on Gale to have to change Brian into this caring, feeling, confused man who had no support for his confusion.

Does that even make sense?
