It really is disappointing, especially as it looks like that is her exit. It was an appalling nonsensical exit. Monica and Gabby deserved far better.

I guess I was too emotionally invested in this ship, and it really hurt to see them go up in flames like that for absolutely no reason. If these were really Monica's last episodes, that's really a terrible way for Derek Hass to show his appreciation for the 6 years she spent developing Gabriela Dawson despite all the *** the writers threw at her.
I will be taking a break from the show, as the past few days have felt so dramatic, I don't want to fall down the fandom hole again. Been there, done that!
