I agree with you.
They definitely took away all the creepy vibe of the movie for a nonsense plot.
I don´t mind when they remake original movies or even when they decide to give it a whole new perspective. When it makes sense of course.
Maybe there´s somene out there who actually enjoys the 2005 movie.
But that movie made me wonder "That´s it?". I saw it more than once and i still didn´t understand why on Earth they decided to make such a movie

Maybe it would have been better if they made a part 2 instead of this horrible "copy".
