It may be odd for me to make a post like this, but I feel like I have been a slacker as of late and I wanted to say a personal THANK YOU for everyone who has been so active on this board, and to Cindy for basically covering for me. I know that probably the last month or so I haven't been near as active as before, haven't been as friendly or my usual self. And I wanted to apologize for that.
I don't want to air my personal issues publicly, directly, but I do want to share a bit with you all so you understand. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby since November, but I have had some oddities occuring physically with my reproductive system during that time as well. I overlooked it for several months, but finally decided to see my doctor in March. While I know that it's unreasonable to worry about these issues most of the time, I think I started to worry more as each month past. So my doctor ran several tests in March and April, including bloodwork and a few semi invasive procedures. The bottom line: reproductively I'm a-okay. But apparantly my thyroid is off, without knowing why. Normal TSH levels are supposed to be 3-5, and mine is 9.9. So I see a specialist next week to work out getting it fixed or find out why. Apparantly a hypoactive thyroid can cause my fertility issues. So I am very relieved now to know all this (which I found out Monday/Tuesday this week). So I think I'd been stressing over all that, and now I don't have to, as much anyhow.
But now that Fan Forum is up ... guess what?
No internet at home. So all this time that Sunny and the gang here have been starting new threads and gathering all our old lists, I've been unable to access Fan Forum at home, and this week at work has prevented me from getting on much at all until today.
But ... everything else in my life is good. Sis and I had a great birthday!
Get Kwick won her race last weekend. The family is doing good. Etc.
for all, for Andie for keeping the list, for those who restarted the few threads we lost. I think we were lucky ... looks like most our stuff got kept, which I am so thankful for!
But I will eventually work on the thread guide again to make sure it's up to date.
