^ I feel it would have been more impactful if Sara didn't already break up with Ava in the previous episode. But we'll see what will happen.
It would be interesting if Ava is a clone and probably throughout the whole season, we've been seeing different versions of the Ava clones which is why her character development was a bit rushed with her feelings towards Sara. 
I doubt they'd do that but what a twist. lol
