I also don't think that Madison would have ever told Ephram about her getting pregnant and having a baby if she hadn't run into Ephram in New York. I think she was trying to put everything behind her and she wasn't living in Everwood anymore, so if her and Ephram didn't meet up in New York I think that she never would have told him, which I feel would have been better for everyone involved.
