i like Emma Stone, but i think that is clickbait fake news stuff, ES would be miscast as Cheetah is always drawn/portrayed as a very muscular and feline body type, and Amazonian in strength as well. i'm not saying Emma couldn't do it, but i think they are looking for a more physical look to the character, and a taller person to match Gal as Diana.
