I think it would have brought EJabby together b/c the emotional connection they shared was there again when she scared she was pregnant.
EJ made it clear he would be there for Abby through it all.
EJ: I would never deny my child!
He knew he could lose Sami too.
Abby was mean a lot.
It was really sad since you could tell it hurt him & mattered what Abby thought of him.
This was during the pregnancy scare.
