Hi D/Jers! I was scrolling through the "Dawson Leery" tag on Tumblr and OH MY GOD, the hatred of his character, WTF! I could sort of understand the P/Jers being fussy about him but geez, their arguments seem way way way way extreme.
Dawson's probably my favorite character. I too grew up in a loving home as an only child with parents I could always actually
talk to. I was always a film lover who also used it to reject reality (hahaha, love that line!). For example, I'm watching the Turner Classic Movie as I write this. I love that he's starry-eyed and romantic and that he has bright ambitions. So, I don't really comprehend everyone's issue.
Plus, James Van Der Beek grew up to be so HANDSOME. Men take a little longer to bake than women, so he really peeked at like 35. And oh my, I just think he's a wonderful man.
