I fell for him pretty quickly. There was something so fragile in his personality portrayed by Adam, even when he had the mask on, that certified to me that he's not your average Star Wars villain. Then it's revealed that he's Vader's grandson and everything becomes clear
Luke had it easier than Ben. He didn't grow up into corruption or manipulation at such a young age.
