I just rewatched this one two days ago. Each time I watch, I spot something new about his performance, little things like the way he sits or stands, or a glance at someone. It's brilliant!
He has two sons in the movie -- a teenager maybe 14 or 15? And a younger boy, maybe 10 or 11. I'm bad with ages, sorry! The scene with his older son is really good. There's footage of them shooting it here at about 2:17 (no spoilers).
