30 years doesn't excuse it. Carrie Fisher didn't become subdued in those 30 years, so why should Leia? Harrison Ford hasn't lost his edge, so why should Han? And Luke going after young Kylo doesn't make sense at any stage of that character's life. Like I said, the excuses are just excuses and don't change the fact that these things have been done to the original trio in these new films and it's damaging to Star Wars.
