i don't believe they were either, just because michael said they were going to be in separate "medium places" for a while, while they figure out how to be good people without the "moral dessert," so i assumes it was just meant to seem like they were back on earth for real
unless that was all before gen and michael started speaking in half sentence code, i forget! need to watch it again already
or if the plan is to put them in their own earth medium place and see if they can find each other because they're what make each other better
