I can guarantee a scream and cry from at least someone everyday, yes. That's just our life, but as I am telling you this, it sounds pretty bad.
I just expect it. Doesn't surprise us at all anymore. It would surprise us if we didn't have someone crying for a day. We have those days too. When our students who have frequent meltdowns are at a field trip or absent. And usually it is them coming into our room crying and yelling about something that didn't happen with us. We provide the comfort. Unless the meltdown goes too far and turns into more anger and aggression. Then we are the punching bags.
