It's so nice to be able to see the pay off for going to the gym. I mean it's great seeing improvement in workouts - able to lift more, better times, more reps, etc. - but when those things have real world applications? Amazing.
Speaking of the gym, it's been kicking my butt lately. Though I was amazed last week to realize that after doing 100 squats my knees didn't hurt! But then I also remember that I tend to be hard on myself with things. I sometimes have to check and remind myself that I am improving. Even if not as quickly as I would like. I'm still so much further than I was when I started 3 months ago.
