no, it didn't bother me, for one, I didn't know the show after all and two, I like happy couples, what do I do with all the build-up, when there is always drama when they are finally together?
that is why - aside from the nonsense with the kidnapping - I really like seasons 6+7 because they are just a happy couple in love with barely any drama (aside from the kidnapping nonsense)
