Funny how it was Dawson's idea not to analyze the kiss.
I think he was kind of scared that it was a fluke or that she changed her mind or he was simply tired of thinking about it so much. It was sweet how she let him know she wanted to be with him again, it was just so simple, "I am happy."
I also liked all the scenes with Dawson supporting Joey through her struggle over her mother's death/going to the funeral/visiting her graveside. It was nice to see him in the supporting role here, it was a subtle reunion but a great one.
