As much as i disliked the Wish Arc (i felt this since season 6, it was crap) i have to agree that this seems to best possible alternative and keeping the Real Killian with his happy ending which was always Emma and their family.
I dont wish to see Wish Hook in a romance, because its just odd to see some form of Hook without Emma (because to me any form, version , in any time, it should always be Emma/Hook, that is the very point of True Love and Soulmates).
And we know and it was said in the episode that Wish Hook's happy ending is his daughter.
