I'd rather they make a clean break from Emma, and focus on the new book. Tell a new interesting story about Henry. By giving Henry a HEA, it does more good to his overall family story including his mom, Emma.

Maybe but Emma was important part of OUAT and protagonist... and Henry is not some new character that they can start afresh so i do feel like they need to bring some Emma instances as she is important and also since her husband Hook is still there too. And this show loves doing flashbacks and parallels so really i expect to see Emma mentions and vision of something at times.
