So I got a second job last week, basically I'm doing freelance closed captioning. It starts out with you having to do kinda crappy quality videos (or just dry content) and you only get paid 45-78 cents per minute of video, but once you get X many minutes logged and your scores on them are good, you can get bumped up to higher pay levels and get access to more exciting videos, too. I found this all out through my psychotherapist, who has another client who has been doing it for three years and is taking home like $500 a week. Right now I'll just be making about $150 a month, but it isn't my full time job and I'm only doing it on my days off, and it can be done from home and on my own schedule, so that's a nice little bit of extra money. Then once I move up, I can make more.
