Yeah, she's studied in elementary school in French schools since her two marriages are at the origin of the 100 Years' War and when we started to learn about her I always loved how she was the one seeking divorce...what level of confidence, independence and conscience of her worth she had to decide to get rid of her husband - the king himself - because she found him boring and controlling (by legal means...not by having him killed
). Also, so many lives she had ! Every time you thinks it's over (after her divorce, after being imprisoned by Henry), she rebound : the last part of her life has probably been the most brilliant and at the age of 80 she was still going through Europe horseback (from England to Spain to Italy etc...) to negotiate oaths and alliances. What a life !
