No, it doesn't. And maybe it has something to do with this romanticized notion of the good girl saving the damaged bad boy? I can handle that SL to a certain extent, but the fact that he never really outgrew his rudeness and temper and was so darn possessive, even in the latter season cameos, that bugged the hell out of me.
