I think as well that the dress that Kate got from Matilda King (I think that was her name, I want to say Regina but I think Regina King might be a real life person or another character from somewhere else!) wouldn't have fit into the outside Hamptons wedding, it was more of a indoor, big fancy venue gown and maybe the writers realised that and that's why they had it ruined and came up with the idea for "Johanna's" dress last minute.
