I also think it's exceptional. I wasn't completely surprised because he nearly got into another convention at one point but it didn't work out.
People con will announce a 10th guest tonight (8.30 pm french time GMT+1). I'm glad for them, that's starting to be a lot :p The bets are on Jared or Jaime. Jared is more likely but Jaime would make sense as part of the Gold family.
