As I said in the Sanvers thread, maybe if they'd actually given her some proper screen time this year, she wouldn't have felt the need to look elsewhere.
Honestly, I blame the show itself. My understanding is that Floriana was looking into other roles as far back as March, including a lead in a show that didn't pan out. At that point, the show should have bent over backwards to keep her on full-time, knowing how important this story line is to so many.
I expect we'll see her in about half of next season's episodes, but I predict the show will take a hit in ratings as a result.
