Let's begin *maniacal laughter*

Why the **** do people keep saying Buffy fell for a trap in Dirty Girls? That was NOT A TRAP.

1) She went to the vineyard expecting to find Caleb and the Bringers and when she got there she found Caleb and the Bringers.
2) She told Wood that she didn't feel comfortable leading the girls into war when some of them had never even been tested in battle and he said "maybe you should test them"
3) She had a vision of what was coming and knew it was way worse than anything that was in the vineyard
4) She took all of the best fighters (Buffy, Spike, Faith).
5) She and Faith scouted ahead.
6) For months she'd been trying to get the group to level up and be able to defend themselves instead of relying on her to save them all the time.

They just lost a battle. Buffy said in End of Days, "You lead people into battle, they're gonna die. It doesn't matter how prepared you are or how well armed you are. War is about death. Needless, stupid death." And in Potential, "Death is what a Slayer breathes. What she dreams about when she goes to sleep. Death is what a Slayer lives."

Should everyone have turned against President Abraham Lincoln because of how many people died at Gettysburg?

The group (sans Buffy) fell for a trap in Touched. Ironic, isn't?
