So I caught up with the first episode of Doctor Who and Bill is an ok character, but god someone take writing lesbians away from Moffat please.
Spoiler:
Her coming out to the audience is done by telling us all about this girl she "pervs" on which just get that word the **** away from here. I mean yes it happens but I don't think it's the word that should be used to
introduce a lesbian character.
And then the rest of the episode is taken up with a heavy lesbian stalker metaphor complete with wet/gushing imagery - no I'm not joking.
So yeah just ok so far with a side of side eye.
Oh and I watched Bridget Jones 2 the other day and I was pleasantly surprised with a lesbian character in that film. I wasn't expecting it and it was mostly a joke, but also quite sweet.
