Exactly even without Spike in the picture or Cordy.
I try to think of how they would work.
Angel always was in charge in their relationship.
Can you see Buffy letting him tell her what to do later?
That's one thing I really think would be a problem if they tried again.
SMG can ship whoever she wants. I think Season 6 tainted Spuffy too much for her.
I can totally understand this.
James didn't come around to thinking they could work until years after the show.
I will always love how hard she pushed for James to be on the show & for Spuffy to happen.
It's just sad that they ended up with the story neither one liked how it played out with the dark SL.
SMG adores James that's obvious. We know how close they were seeing the dailies.
Even if she didn't say it. We have proof of their friendship.
