He could still be the killer and be on the show, the way they're telling the story, the audience could find it out, and the people of Riverdale never the wiser, somebody else could go to jail for it and it just goes down in Riverdale history as being truth.
And with people like the SSS on his side, they could easily get rid of anything that could incriminate him.
That said I don't want him to be and I don't think he is the killer...but he could be.
