It is! We've had some people come and go over the years, or miss one year and come the next, but the core group is the same people. And some people live close to each other and see each other between our trips. I've met one of my friends at Disneyland a few times too.
But we've also had people from Australia or Germany come too, if the timing works for them. We might go to Canada next year.
