I've seen it, people saying his pining for Dany is pathetic. It's not a common view but it's around.
I love Show Jorah though. He does pine over her, but is more selfless, he's happy just being by her side and it's really touching. Book Jorah however is much more of a "nice guy" and gets kind of pushy with Dany, also he really messes up when he gets caught for spying on her rather than outright admitting he was wrong.
Also Show Jorah is much better looking...
